Drift appears when sensors inside the analog module wear down. Your character or camera starts moving without input and this seriously impacts gameplay.
Software calibration can provide temporary relief, but it cannot eliminate mechanical wear. For a permanent fix, the faulty analog module should be replaced with proper equipment.
After replacement, axis accuracy and center stability should be validated in test mode. High-quality parts and clean soldering reduce recurrence risk.
